Boruto: Naruto’s new Baryon Mode form and how it works

 Naruto’s strongest form comes at a deadly price, and this might be the deadliest challenge for the Seventh Hokage of the Konohagakure village.

The latest chapter in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations revealed a new form of Naruto. This new form comes at a deadly price, which might kill the veteran village leader.

In chapter 52, Naruto reaches a new form, more potent than his Nine-tails, Sage, or any other form. The new Baryon Mode, which is the most dangerous form of Naruto, makes headlines in the Naruto fandom.

The battle against Isshiki is turning sour for the veteran heroes. Naruto, Boruto, and Sasuke are unable to beat Isshiki in their current forms. Even Naruto’s constant attempts are failing to keep up with Isshiki’s godly speed and endurance. While Sasuke and Boruto are on the verge of death, Kurama explains this new form called Baryon Mode and how it can help Naruto defeat Isshiki.

But the only drawback of using Baryon Mode is the constant consumption of chakras. In exchange for chakras, the Baryon Mode provides godlike agility, strength, and endurance.

In chapter 52, Kurama explains to Naruto that the power and strength he is experiencing right now is the output of Baryon Mode, a new kind of energy, created with the consumption of both Naruto and Kurama’s chakra at an extremely alarming rate. As lying on the ground, Sasuke is also astonished about the origin of Naruto’s newly found form. He manages to sense Naruto’s chakra level and how the Baryon Mode is consuming his life force at a very rapid rate.

The Baryon Mode acts like a double-edged sword, where Naruto and Kurama’s lifespans shrink to a great extent. Simultaneously, Naruto will be able to keep up with Isshiki, and there is a possibility that he might even defeat Isshiki in this new form.

But Kurama explains that if Naruto tries anything new or uses powerful attacks, he might run out of chakra and eventually die without saving anyone. The only explanation for Naruto’s Baryon Mode is chakra consumption, which creates a new form of energy. The more Naruto keeps up his newly found power, the more his and Kurama’s lifespan shrinks. To this deadly attack, Kurama explains if Naruto keeps Isshiki around him, Isshiki’s lifespan will also get depleted, making him suffer the same fate as Naruto.

In the last minutes of Battle, Baryon Mode weakens the lifespan of Isshiki from 30-hours to 10-minutes, and it continues to drop. As Naruto is on the verge of death, he tries to take Isshiki with him, but Isshiki has an ace up his sleeve that requires him to use Kawaki as his vessel.

Fans are eager to find out what will happen in the next chapter of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Naruto’s end is already controversial, but the last scene of the manga left fans on a cliffhanger, where Momoshiki takes over Boruto as a last resort.
