Pokemon Go: All Mega Evolution Forms in the Game

 Niantic has finally introduced the Mega Evolution in Pokemon Go. Now trainers can evolve their beloved Pokemon in Mega form to get some benefits in battles. Now along with the latest update, Niantic has introduced Special Research. Right now every trainer is talking about Mega Pokemon, Mega Evolution, and Mega Raid Battles. All these three things have officially been launched in the game. Now trainers can Mega evolve the starter “Kanto region” Pokemon that includes – Blastoise, Charizard, and Venusaur. However, Niantic has also released the Mega “Beedrill,” but it doesn’t belong to starter Pokemon.

Trainers were so excited about the new Mega Evolution, and now that Niantic has launched it. However, trainers can Mega Evolve only 4 Pokemon. Among the four Pokemon, Charizard got two different Mega forms that include “Mega Charizard X” and “Mega Charizard Y.” Apart from Charizard, all three Pokemon got one Mega form that includes Mega Blastoise, Mega Venusaur, and Mega Beedrill.

All the Mega forms of the following Pokemon look stunning and players can use them in Mega Raid battles. To provide an easy intro, Niantic has offered a Special Research task name: “A Mega Discovery.” After completing this research challenge, trainers will get essential items to evolve Beedril in Mega Beedrill.

The current Mega Pokemon in the game are very few. However, after the new update, Niantic might release more Mega Pokemon in the game. All the Pokemon that are currently featured in the intro of Mega Evolution have shiny forms. If trainers have the Pokemon with shiny forms, they can evolve them to get Shiny Mega Pokemon. There’s one thing trainers need to remember is that “Shadow” and “Clone” Pokemon cannot turn into Mega form. However, if any trainer has Blastoise with sunglasses, they can evolve it in Mega form.

The process of evolving a Pokemon in Mega Pokemon is slightly different. Trainers have to gather “Mega Energy” for Mega Evolution, and they can be earned through Mega Raid battles. The option of using Mega Energy is available on the other side of candy. In a single Mega Raid battle, trainers can earn 40-50 Mega Energy. Every Pokemon Mega Evolves through a different Mega Energy. Once a trainer evolves a Pokemon in Mega form, it will remain in that form for 4hr. After spending 4hr in Mega form, the following Pokemon will turn back to normal.

Trainers are feeling worried because 200 Mega Energy for one Pokemon is too much costly. While trainers can probably earn 50 Mega Energy from a single Mega Raid battle. However, Niantic has assured the trainers that once a Pokemon Mega Evolved, it will require less Mega Energy in another attempt.

Pokemon trainers are happy with the new update of the game. Getting 5 new Mega Pokemon forms of 4 Kanto region Pokemon is truly amazing. Now the only question trainers have in mind is when more Mega forms will be released in the game. Niantic could launch them through a surprise event, but no one has the exact information. Mega Pidgeot is also getting some spotlight, but until its release, players can only wait.

CONCLUSION

The Mega Evolution form of Pokemon is already very popular among trainers. But, now trainers got the chance to turn their favorite Pokemon in Mega form. The fan-favorite Pokemon Charizard got two Mega forms which are quite interesting. However, in September, Niantic will release more amazing content regarding Mega Evolution.
